Day 1: Pyramids, Sphinx & Egyptian Museum

🚗 Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup around 8:30 AM from your Cairo hotel, where you’ll meet your private, qualified Egyptologist tour guide (speaking English, German, Russian, Italian, Czech, or Polish as requested).

First, journey to the Giza Plateau to witness the Giza Pyramids Complex, a true marvel of the ancient world. Stand before the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure 🏛️. Marvel at the enigmatic Great Sphinx 🦁 and explore the Valley Temple, traditionally associated with the mummification process 🏺. (Optional: Enter a pyramid or enjoy a camel ride for an extra cost).

Afterwards, delve into the treasures housed within the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) 🏛️ or the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir (depending on GEM’s full operational status and tour flow). Here, you’ll see thousands of artifacts spanning 5000 years, including the legendary golden treasures of Tutankhamun and ancient mummies.

Enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant 🍽️. In the late afternoon, you’ll check into your selected 4-5 star hotel in Cairo. The evening is free for relaxation or optional activities such as the Pyramids Sound & Light Show or a serene Nile dinner cruise (at extra cost).

Day 2: Citadel of Muhammad Ali & Old Cairo

After a restful night and breakfast at your hotel 🍳, your exploration continues. Check out from your hotel and head to the magnificent Citadel of Muhammad Ali, a medieval Islamic fortress offering stunning panoramic views of Cairo, and visit its impressive Alabaster Mosque 🕌.

Next, delve into the spiritual heart of Cairo with a visit to Old Cairo (Coptic Cairo). Explore historic sites like the Hanging Church, one of Egypt’s oldest churches, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, said to be built on the site where baby Moses was found 🕍.

Pickup & Drop-off: Pickup is from your hotel in Cairo on Day 1 morning. Drop-off is at Cairo International Airport or your preferred location in Cairo on Day 2 afternoon. The exact pickup time on Day 1 can be flexible based on your arrival schedule and preference.
