Your private journey into antiquity begins with an early morning pickup from your Marsa Alam hotel 🚐. Settle into your comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle for the drive north to Luxor, accompanied by your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide (in your chosen language). Along the way, your guide will share stories and historical context about the ancient cities along the Nile.

On arrival in Luxor, you first visit the magnificent Karnak Temple 🏛️ on the East Bank. Wander through the vast Hypostyle Hall with its forest of towering columns, and see the sacred lake and impressive obelisks that once formed the heart of ancient Thebes.

After exploring Karnak, enjoy a Nile-side lunch at a local restaurant, then cross to the West Bank to meet the monumental Colossi of Memnon and continue to the Valley of the Kings, where you descend into three of the royal tombs included with your ticket. Your guide explains the symbolism, art and burial customs of the New Kingdom pharaohs.

You then visit the elegant Temple of Hatshepsut, dramatically nestled beneath towering cliffs, and learn about the remarkable female pharaoh who commissioned it. Depending on time and interest, you may also have a brief stop at an alabaster workshop to see how local artisans create traditional stone handicrafts.

As the sun begins to set, you begin your return drive to Marsa Alam, arriving back at your hotel in the late evening – enriched with vivid memories of Egypt’s glorious past.

How to Book: To reserve your private tour, please provide: 1) Hotel Name, 2) Room Number, 3) Full Names of all participants, 4) Arrival Date, 5) Departure Date, 6) Name of your Travel Agency, 7) Clear photo of the passport photo page for each traveller, 8) Clear photo of Egyptian visa (if applicable). Passport details are required for travel permits. Please specify your preferred guide language (English, German, Czech, Italian, Polish or Russian) when booking.

Child Policy: Children up to 5 years old usually travel free. Children aged 6–11 years typically pay 50% of the adult price (exact policy can be confirmed at booking).

Tour Days: This private tour is generally available daily, subject to guide and permit availability. Early booking is highly recommended.

VIP Small Group Option: A shared VIP small-group tour by bus (e.g. 4–8 people) may be available on selected days (e.g. Sat / Mon / Wed / Fri). Inclusions and price can vary (e.g. bottled water & one drink at lunch; guides may be multilingual). Please ask if you are interested in a VIP shared option instead of a fully private tour.

At the conclusion of your comprehensive tour, you will be comfortably driven back to your hotel in Marsa Alam, filled with memories of Egypt’s ancient wonders.
