🏞️ Detailed Day Trip Itinerary
🏝️
Your journey to natural paradise begins around 7:30 AM with pickup from your Marsa Alam
hotel by an air-conditioned minibus 🚌. Head south towards the
magnificent Wadi el Gemal National Park, making a short stop along the way.
Enter the National Park and marvel at the fantastic nature surrounding you – a unique blend of desert
landscapes, rugged mountains, and the azure waters of the Red Sea . Your first
key stop is Al-Nayzak, the intriguing “meteor lake,” a natural sea-water pool separated from
the coast, perfect for photos . As you travel through the park, keep an eye out
for glimpses of traditional Bedouin life and maybe even herds of wild camels. Your driver/guide can provide
assistance in your preferred language (EN, DE, RU, IT, CZ, PL).
Continue to the breathtaking Qualaan Islands area, often called the Egyptian Maldives for
its crystal-clear turquoise waters and white velvet sand 🏝️. This area
offers a serene escape into nature almost untouched by humans. Enjoy a relaxing walk along the angelic
shores, sunbathe, and soak in the incredibly picturesque landscape. It’s also a place where you can observe
the Red Sea’s oldest mangrove trees, which provide vital habitats for rare birds and
wandering hermit crabs .
Next, move to Sharm El Luli, another stunning bay known for its easy beach entry and calm,
shallow waters, making it ideal for snorkeling 🐠
(note: snorkeling equipment may need to be rented or brought along).
As the day winds down, you’ll be treated to a delicious BBQ dinner, prepared by one of Marsa
Alam’s best oriental restaurants . Complement your meal with a taste of authentic
Bedouin coffee and tea . After dinner, begin the return journey
back to your hotel in Marsa Alam, arriving in the evening.
